The FTA SA Print Excellence Awards was once again a successful outing for UPP this year.
The Flexographic Technical Association of South Africa hosts an annual awards event celebrating excellence in the flexographic print industry in this country. Anyone in the flexographic print industry can submit an entry with a product/s of their choosing with categories ranging from self-adhesive labels to flexible packaging and paper products. Judging is done by a panel of industry experts with focus drawn on world-class execution and innovative print techniques.
This year we grabbed three awards in two categories for uncoated paper products. Two gold awards were handed out for Dinu Designer napkins in both the process and line/tone categories and one silver for our brand new Dinu Decor Fruits household towel in the process print category. The judges praised the “great colours” and “good register” achieved in the winning products. Watch this space for more exciting new developments at the high standard you’ve come to expect from UPP.
