To celebrate the 69th birthday of Universal Paper & Plastics this year, we held a “summer of sixty-nine” themed party on the 8th of February.
The emphasis was placed on summer fun with the entire UP staff taking part in a variety of water-based games, the main attraction being the dunk bucket game. Staff had the opportunity to let off some steam by splashing the EXCO team with water if their aim was good enough, and judging by the amount of soaking wet executives it was a huge success. The rest of the festivities included a health and safety quiz with a grand prize, water balloon tossing as well as food and refreshments. To continue the UP tradition, a themed cake was present with enough cupcakes on the side for the entire UP family. It was definitely a day enjoyed by all who attended.
We would like to thank all UP staff for their contributions and continuous commitment to ensuring the UP group remains successful and continues to break new ground in the tissue paper industry.
We are looking forward to next year as we will be turning 70!
