You will be able to buy colourful, African-inspired packs of bathroom tissue soon!

Dinu has launched a limited edition metallic pack for its premium Pink Rose bathroom tissue line – A first of its kind in the World!

The Dinu Pink Rose Limited Edition metallic packs will be available in stores from early 2018, from all major retailers.

The inspiration for this innovative product packaging came from the metalized film bags that contain washing powder and also potato chips while the design was inspired by the Ndebele Cultural Heritage.

Finding a manufacturer who could supply the product was more difficult than anticipated and took about a year. Time spent conceptualising and designing as well as proofing the artwork came to about 6 months in total.

The plastic was manufactured by using a combination of 2 types of plastic and laminating them together. A clear film is printed with the final design and then laminated to a metallized film which gives the metallic look (shines through the clear printed film). The aluminium film acts as a protective barrier. Rolls will last forever in the packaging, which is shielded against UV rays, similar to food packaging (potato chips) – this packaging will preserve your Bathroom Tissue for eternity, for great grandchildren to enjoy.

The bathroom tissue contained in this African-inspired packaging is the embossed Dinu Pink Rose bathroom tissue that South Africans have come to know and trust. It is the same quality tissue paper that sets the Dinu brand apart.

The new metallic packs aim to create interest – no more boring bathroom tissue packaging! Instead, the featured Ndebele patterns create a feeling of pride in our African heritage while the product stands out in terms of looks and has a premium feel, which is “too good to use.”

This Proudly South African limited edition pack could easily become a collector’s item for those who would like to have a decorative keepsake.
