The Global Pulp and Paper Industry

By UPP Admin | Highlights, Company News, Dinu, News_Dinu | Comments are Closed | 26 April, 2018 | 1

Our DINU Kids Collection Multi was runner-up in the “Tissue-Innovation” category this past month.

This was the 9th Annual PPI Awards, that were recently held at the prestigious Royal Museums of Art and History in Brussels, Belgium on November 29. RISI partnered with the CEPI European Paper Week event to co-host the gathering.

“The PPI Awards are the only global awards that are dedicated to recognizing the
achievements of companies, mills and individuals in the pulp and paper sector.
It provides a platform that honours a multitude of different categories celebrating
leadership, vision, innovation and strategic accomplishments within the industry.”- RISI

According to RISI, the Tissue Innovation Award category has been created to “highlight the incredibly imaginative work carried out by tissue producers to keep an increasingly demanding customer happy.” The finalists this year, in the Tissue Innovation category, included Atlas Tissue, Cascades, Sofidel and Universal Paper & Plastics.

Paper360° is a bi-monthly publication that joined forces with RSI’s PPI magazine. They offer exclusive content that explores the connection between pulp and the paper industry, among an array of other components and topics. “Reaching more than 32,000 industry professionals around the world, Paper360° is the leading publication for the global pulp and paper industry.”

We are overjoyed to be a part of international recognition for the work we do at Universal Paper and Plastics. Striving to grow and achieve greater things each and every day, we take pride in the quality of our product and thank everyone involved who make it possible.
